Meet the Minds Behind Mrs Mogan Education
Rejini Mogan
Hi, I am Rejini.
I am an educator, a mother, and the founder of Mrs Mogan Education. I have spent over a decade nurturing children, first in a primary school and then in enrichment centres across Singapore. I love teaching English and helping children develop skills needed for reading and writing.
But there was something that concerned me deeply.
Through these years, I have seen many children struggle with fundamental language skills. This hinders their progress and dampens their interest in reading and writing.
Experiencing this firsthand has driven me to take action. With a BA in English Language & Literature and specialized training in the Orton-Gillingham method, I work with teachers to provide tailored English lessons. Our programmes are designed to not only address foundational gaps but to also rekindle the spark of curiosity for reading and writing ages 6 – 12.
Our goal is to give students what they need to bridge the gaps in their skillset, setting them on a path to success and lifelong learning.
Beverly DeRise
Hi, I am Beverly. You can call me Bev.
I am an experienced educator who has always been driven to deliver engaging and effective instruction. I am also the mother of four young adults with a BS in Elementary and Special Education, an MA in Curriculum and Instruction, and certification in instructional design. I am dedicated to implementing the best methods to make the greatest impact on student learning.
In my twenty plus years of teaching experience, I have worked with students of varied ages and ability levels and one thing has always been clear – reading matters. It is the foundation for learning and the basis for future success in every area of life. Collaborating with Mrs Mogan Education allows me to extend the value of my expertise to families all around the world.
I am pleased to empower families with the tools and resources they need to be an active part of their child’s learning. As a partner of Mrs Mogan Education, we are committed to making quality learning experiences more accessible and enjoyable.
